Deposit Account Opening Procedures Help Protect Our Country and Your Identity.

We support efforts to protect and maintain the security of our clients and our country.

A Federal law aimed at protecting our country from financial crimes and terrorist attacks requires financial institutions to collect and keep identifying information about each person who opens a new account. We will actively comply with these requirements in an effort to protect our country and our communities from harm.

The accounts for which we will request identifying information include:

• Deposit Accounts, i.e., checking, savings, certificates of deposit, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA’s).
• Mortgage, consumer & commercial loans.
• Safe deposit boxes.

We will also ask for identifying information from authorized signers on business and organizational accounts.
